Answer: Get Pre-Approved!

Viewing homes without being pre-approved for mortgage financing is never recommended. Here’s Why: In 2022, many homes have multiple offers and are under contract within days (if not hours). If you’re not already pre-approved when you view a home or property, it could be sold before you have a chance to get approved. Gaining pre-approved status will also help us know what type of loan works best for you (some homes can only be sold with a conventional type loan) and the approved amount. Getting pre-approved is a professional courtesy to your real estate agent, lender and everyone else working to help you buy your home.

When do we look at homes?

After gaining pre-approved status, call me and I’ll coordinate with the home sellers to set up times to look at homes!

Choose your top home candidate and I’ll submit your offer.

Yay- your offer is accepted! You’ll be “under contract” to purchase your new home. (I will make sure your lender has all the information they need along the way).

Closing is usually 30-45 days after your offer is accepted. I will facilitate this final meeting at a local title company. There, you’ll sign all necessary documents and walk away as proud owner of your new home!
